The future of Nicklas Bendtner, again.

Welcome back to The Roker Report Podcast, and I'd like to say this is a special edition, but it isn't. It's just our 50th show, but that's quite the milestone in itself. We'll keep things suitably understated.

Lots to talk about on this week's show, and I (Simon Walsh) was joined by David Boyle and Chris Weatherspoon to discuss the Tyne-Wear derby and more on another jam-packed show. Here's what went down...

A little bit of SAFC news, including Gyan and our backroom staff.
What does the future hold for Lee Cattermole?
Heartbreak at the Sports Direct Arena.
How will we cope without Catts and Sessegnon?
Liverpool match previewed, with heavy focus on Luis Suarez.
Our perfect match-day experience.
Other bits and bobs which at the moment I can't remember but are sure to blow some minds...
So you're probably saying to yourself "this sounds incredible, how can I get it?"... Well here's one handy way you can listen without having to download anything at all. See below, that big black box that looks like some TV/Radio hybrid? Just click play and it will, quite simply, play...

So, on the show with your host Simon Walsh was Michael "The Grumpus" Graham, and besieged by technical problems but soldiering through, David Boyle. To round up not just a bit of news, but two Sunderland matches, and look forward to the Arsenal game tomorrow. Aside from that, there's all this...

Some forgetfulness of Pulis-esque proportions
Speaking of Tony Pulis, we rant a little more about his post-match comments.
Try and look clever talking about finances and that.
Decide our favourite goal of the Martin O'Neill era so far.
Will Arsenal play into our hands or the exact opposite?

A transfer window round-up, with thoughts on Wayne Bridge and Sotiris Kyrgiakos.
No striker? No problem!
Some unplanned Gyan chat.
Can we hold on to Stephane Sessegnon.
The exceptional performance against Norwich revisited.

Whilst I was on hosting duty once again, I was joined by a Nutella-less David Boyle and self-proclaimed "sh*tty student" Chris Weatherspoon to talk all manner of Sunderland AFC stuff, including...

Nicklas Bendtner's broken face.
Potential signings.
Craig Gardner's brief flirtation with Twitter.
The Swansea win looked at in depth, with focus on Brendan Rogers' pomposity.
Sunderland's own little Goal Of The Month competition.
Middlesborough previewed, to the best someone who knows nothing about them can be.
Beware of the manager with a jumper/shirt/tie combo.

Hello one and all, and welcome to another thrilling episode of The Roker Report Podcast. We're up to episode fourty-two now, and perhaps it's starting to show as everyone it seems has gone a bit mental. Even the sound quality hasn't come out as hoped, but it's still perfectly listenable. Dunno why it happened, I'm no expert, it just did.

On the show this week is your host, Simon Walsh. The ever delightful Michael Graham, and a plague-ridden Dan Williams. What's up with that lad and the French medical service is a modern mystery, but he's ill again. Or still. Not sure to be honest.

On the show this week across a multitude of subjects...

Looking at those who've gone away on loan.
The various merits of Craig Gardner.
Should James McClean be in the Ireland squad for Euro 2012?
Looking back at the Chelsea game in some depth.
How to injure yourself doing nothing at all.
Ways to get around and in at Swansea.
A controversial answer in Question Of The Week.
We also find Nicklas Bendtner's biggest fan, someone who thinks David Vaughan should be dropped and one who labels an in demand defender as just a "glorified Nosworthy"... They're not all from the same person by the way!

Welcome back for another episode of The Roker Report Podcast. This weeks show is relatively short, but that's actually explained on the show in a round about way of moaning about having nothing to moan about.

So, on this week's show you'll find the delights of Simon Walsh, David Boyle & Michael Graham, and this everyone, is what was discussed...

Martin O'Neill's Manager Of The Month Award.
Loan moves for the young guns.
Do we really need to sign anyone this January?
Peterborough win looked at.
Chelsea hold no fear.
Bringing back some old players a la Scholes or Henry.
And if you listen right to the end, there's a revelation about Phil Bardsley from Michael.
And there's more stuff chucked in there to what might be short, but it's just choc-full of positives and very little to moan and groan about. That's just the way things are these days fortunately!

So how can you hear this aural pleasure? Well let me enlighten you with a few way to get subscribed or just download and listen one time.

Starting with iTunes where you'll find us by searching "Roker Report" or something along those lines. If all that's too difficult then use this - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-roker-report-podcast-www/id437085978 - to be taken right to our page on iTunes.

Hello! It's our big 40th bash, but sadly only Simon Walsh and David Boyle were the only two who bothered to turn up, so that's who you're stuck with for this week's Podcast... On the plus side that means it's free of curmudgeon, motorbikes and the wonders of the French internet, so maybe you'll like it, who knows!

On the show this week, content wise we have a bit of this...

Steven Piennar to Sunderland?
Kieran Richardson to Arsenal?
The wondrous Wigan game looked at further.
Manchester City - We're still in disbelief as to where that came from!
Have expectations change?
Praise for McClean and even Lee Cattermole of all people!
Our distinct lack of knowledge when it comes to Peterborough comes to the fore.
Plus there's more, much much more, come and get subscribed or listening to the only Podcast by the fans, for the fans. There's numerous ways you can do that, so here's the top three...

Starting with iTunes, like it or love it, it's pretty popular. We're on there, and you can either search for us "Roker Report Podcast" or something like that, or follow this link - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-roker-report-podcast-www/id437085978

If you just can't handle iTunes or don't like them, you can get the MP3 file direct to do with what you want by heading to http://www.rokerreport.podomatic.com/ which takes you to our hosting service. You can even subscribe to the RSS feed there.

And lastly there's a lovely little app you can get for free called Stitcher. Stitcher let you subscribe, sort of, to podcasts, including ours, except you stream them instead of downloading. Space saver! You can get Stitcher for free, for any thing be it Android, Blackberry, iPhone, iPad and so on from http://www.stitcher.com/

And that will do it. We're a lot happier this week than we have been for ages so get subscribed without delay!

PARTY WITH MARTY!

Hello everyone and welcome to Episode 38 of The Roker Report Podcast. It's a relatively short one this week, but that's what happens when you get down to the nitty-gritty rather than aimlessly waffling on I suppose.

On the show this week was your host Simon Walsh, Chris Weatherspoon and Michael Grinch... Sorry, Graham, Michael Graham and his extremely festive demeanor.

As for content, you'll find the following...

A look at the recent escapades of Lee Cattermole & Nicklas Bendtner.
Appraisal of the performances at Spurs & QPR.
Trying to work out the mind of Martin O'Neill.

Hello there, welcome back for another lovely little episode of The Roker Report Podcast.

On this particular show you had the delights of a perfectly fine Simon Walsh, an ill-but-battling Dan Williams and of course Michael Graham at his curmudgeonly best.

An array of topics covered this week on the show, including but no limited to...

Any potential return to the club for Asamoah Gyan?
Nicklas Bendtner and his pizza buying habits
Singing the praises of James McClean
Looking at how we'll strive to beat Spurs
A first in our Question Of The Week segment
And rounding up various other bits and bobs involving Sunderland AFC.

There's plenty more in there, and if you're on Twitter and fancy trying to coax Michael Graham, aka @Capt_Fishpaste on that very medium, into singing a Christmas song because he just loves Christmas so much then make sure you harrass him relentlessly.

It's not all childishness however, there's plenty of Sunderland related chit-chat in the only SAFc podcast produced by fans, for fans. Now we've given it the big sell, here's how to listen...

Perhaps the most common way is to subscribe on iTunes, and get it every week hassle free. You can do so by heading to this link - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-roker-report-podcast-www/id437085978

Or if you hate Apple, and many of you do, why not head to http://www.rokerreport.podomatic.com/ and you'll find the MP3 file direct to download and do with as you wish.

Or if you just want to stream it and not download at all, I'd highly recommend this free app called Stitcher. It's pretty good, and what I myself actually use to listen, so why not bag it by heading to www.stitcher.com today.

That'll be all for now folks, I do hope you enjoy the show-ho-ho.

Hello and welcome to another episode of The Roker Report Podcast. Not a vintage episode, but it's Christmas, we're all a bit tired and forgetful. I blame these dark mornings and nights. It's confusing. And Bruce. He can shoulder some of the blame too, why not.

Joining Simon Walsh in a quick backtrack over Martin O'Neill this week was Chris Weatherspoon, and the man who forced that, Michael Graham to chat about all things SAFC this week.

In a week light of news away from the managerial hot-seat, we found time to have a look back at Wolves and look forward to Blackburn, or at least as well as we can anyway. Here's some of the highlights for you...

A big chat on Martin O'Neill and what he'll do.
A look at some of the things said in O'Neill's first press conference.
Strangely off on a tangent, the Kieran Richardson debate reared it's ugly head.
Looking back at Wolves, and Sebastian Larsson picking up the Best Actor award.
O'Hara Handball?
A shocking display of just how little we know going into Blackburn this weekend.
Nominate some early January transfer targets
And much, much more. Including us generally feeling half-asleep and forgetting what we're doing.
So if you'd like to hear three Sunderland fans wittering on about the club on a regular basis, you'll be wanting to get subscribed on iTunes with the following link - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-roker-report-podcast-www/id437085978

Or if you're not a lover of all things Apple, you can just have the MP3 file direct to do whatever you want with. Get it by heading to our hosts http://www.rokerreport.podomatic.com/

Failing that, and you just want to stream the show on the go, I'd highly recommend you get a hold of a free app called Stitcher. I use it, why don't you? Get it at www.stitcher.com or your App Store of choice.

I'm off to do some lines (on paper, not like that) and we'll try better next week. Promise!

Love you bye!

Hello there, it's been quite a week hasn't it? Well it's about time we discussed all that on the podcast, so here it is everyone.

A lengthier show than usual, but it has been chopped down as much as possible to avoid you having to listen to people's internet connections disappearing, people answering doors and so forth.

Lets move on to whats on the show though, and I can tell you Simon Walsh, Chris Weatherspoon and David Boyle all had these topics on the agenda...

Big, big Steve Bruce debate - Should he go? Will he go? Who should replace? How will he be remembered when he does eventually get the chop? It's all here!
Brrrrrrrrapppppppppp
The Wigan match reviewed in all its glory.
Is Kieran Richardson the answer to everything?
Wolves away - Would defeat be that bad in the long run?
What are we thankful to SAFC for most?
And much much more!
So if you want to get your ears on this podcast, one of the many ways to listen is on iTunes, and you can get yourself subscribed by following this link - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-roker-report-podcast-www/id437085978

A strange, strange show this week in which there was expected fireworks as Michael Graham and David Boyle went head-to-head, but unfortunately they were at a minimum... On the show this week you'll find us muttering about the following things:

Albert Riera is not signing for Sunderland.
Fulham at home; problems, but some praise.
Previewing the Wigan game.
Whether or not it's time to give Ryan Noble a chance, and also compare him to Jesus.
Why Roy Keane would be an excellent shepherd.

Renaming the Stadium Of Light for our own personal benefit.

Here we are, it's Episode No.3!

Making his Pod debut this week, fresh back from the USA, and not a cruise, it's Chris Weatherspoon! He's joined by David Boyle, and of course your host, Simon Walsh.

Under the microscope this week...

- The Birmingham Game
- A look ahead to Wigan
- A very tough Question Of The Week
- Transfer tittle-tattle
- What do we do with Sessegnon?
- Return/non-return of Nosworthy

Not only that, but here us sound incredibly cool by using words like 'alrightyroo' and 'toodles'...

You just don't get that with any other SAFC podcast, so come anc join the fun.

Welcome back you! Yes, the Roker Report Podcast has returned for a second week!

Thank you to everyone who has downloaded it so far, and please keep spreading the word. We rode high in the iTunes Charts last week, and would love to climb even higher, but we can't do that without your help, so as said, please keep telling people about us, the best SAFC Podcast you'll come across.

On the show this week, the host (that's me) was joined once again by Michael Graham, and making his pod debut, Dan Williams.

We went over some bits of news, for some inexplicable reason I did an impression of Jean M'Voto, and confessed my love for a former SAFC player. Plus we previewed the Birmingham City game, as well as talking about where the bloody hell it's all going wrong for our club.
